C-QUR™ Mesh combines Atrium’s Indication by Design platform of polypropylene mesh with an all natural Omega 3 gel coating. The O3FA coating is derived from highly purified, contaminant-free pharmaceutical grade fish oil consisting of a unique blend of triglycerides and Omega 3 fatty acids.

Unequaled handling, see-thru clarity and implantation performance
By all measures, C-QUR™ Mesh outperforms all competitive barrier meshes in terms of ease-of-use. Atrium has developed a state of the art automated manufacturing process that uses 40% less oil than the original process to coat the polypropylene mesh. This new process creates a more uniform and conformable coating on the mesh and results in significantly improved handling. The updated coating process enhances tight trocar “roll up capability” with minimal to no “edge curl” following laparoscopic deployment. C-QUR™ Mesh “lays flat” and “glides” along tissue for unmatched surgical convenience and ideal “anatomical conformance.”
Superior Healing with Omega 3 Technology
In pre-clinical studies, the Omega 3 absorbable coating was observed to minimize the inflammatory response following blunt dissection. C-QUR™ exhibited significantly less inflammatory cell recruitment than uncoated polypropylene, resulting in a fully incorporated, well-anchored reinforcement to the abdominal wall, with little to no evidence of “uncontrolled” connective tissue scarring or visceral tissue attachment. This 100% all natural coating technology promotes a more natural healing response to bluntly dissected tissue, providing full incorporation throughout the mesh. |
