V12 Covered Stent

Atrium’s V12 covered stent is a perfect blend of stent craftsmanship and biomaterial science. The balloon expandable V12 stent provides unsurpassed deployment accuracy due to its precision stent delivery platform and its low foreshortening design. The V12 stent is crafted using Atrium’s patented PTFE Encapsulation Technology. The balloon deployable V12 stent utilizes a one-step deployment technique for precise, accurate placement.

The ultra-thin V12 covered stent uses the latest developments in microporous PTFE to maximize cellular biocompatibility. Atrium’s Film-Cast Encapsulation Technology protects the 316L stainless steel struts from contacting the luminal wall and is designed to expand uniformly to prevent tissue from prolapsing through the expanded stent. The patented filmcast covering also helps evenly distribute radial expansion stress during balloon deployment, creating more uniform deployment and minimizing trauma to the supporting tissue. The V12 covered stent has the lowest crossing profile compared to other commercially available covered stents. Lower profile means more efficient delivery.

When precision deployment means everything, the V12's 6FR/7Fr profile makes difficult entry targets possible. The V12 is a one-step delivery system, and is suitable for vessels ranging from 5mm to 12mm diameters, with large diameter stents available in 12, 14*, and 16mm. The ultra low crossing profile is made possible by Atrium’s exclusive Power Crimp Technology and Atrium’s Anertia™ balloon catheter technology. V12 is CE and TGA approved for restoring patency of the iliac arteries.
V12 is CE approved for patency of the renal arteries in 5, 6, and 7mm sizes only.
V12 is not available in the US.
